preparatory school for the end of the world

preparatory school for the end of the world is a poetry chapbook exploring religion, trauma, gender, rebirth, and ego death in an experimental call-and-response format that forms a series of sacred conversations between internal and external. it serves as a written funeral ceremony for my past identity as i begin to live authentically in my queer identities, casting off parts of myself which were largely a product of trauma i experienced from adolescence through early adulthood. orchestrated with the care of the most elaborate ceremony possible, i let go of that which no longer serves me in an extreme act of catharsis, bringing me closer to closure in my healing process.
